Good morning. The Australian Open has taken centre stage over the last 9 days and we have the first of the quarter-finals starting today.
Something that has attracted more attention than last year is the Australian Open's animated matches. The Australian Open has been showing the matches live on their YouTube channel but in order to get around the TV rights, they have been showing the players as animated figures.
It's all a little weird given Channel 9 shows them for free online but the viewer numbers are getting higher. If you want to see Medvedev's animated character smash his racquet (which incurred a substantial fine), you can watch it HERE at 1.52.40 seconds in.
