Good morning. Who is the Boomerasker in your office?

What's a Boomerasker? It's someone who asks you a pretty standard question, like "do you have any plans this weekend?" You reply with a fairly typical response while being polite and returning the question.

The response you get is extremely detailed, elaborate and long-winded, leaving you wondering how you got into a conversation about an upcoming yoga retreat to Kazakhstan where you can only breathe once every 3 minutes.

It's effectively someone who asks a question with the pure intention of the question coming back. If you're thinking that you don't know any Boomeraskers....then it's probably you.
