Good morning. Everyone has a friend who suspiciously goes missing when it's their turn to buy a round at the bar.


If you missed it yesterday, even that friend might be surprised to hear that in the first two weeks of the 50-cent public transport fares trial in Queensland, authorities issued 475 fines for fare evasion. Even more ridiculous is that 2,406 people got away with just a warning.


I suppose if you snuck on 644 times you would finally get your money back from one $322 fine. Seems logical.
