Scientists have created contact lenses that they claim allow people to see in the dark. There are a number of implications; however, the invention could allow colour-blind people to see colours again.


Experiments have allowed the wearer to perceive multiple infrared wavelengths, even when participants closed their eyes, which does feel a little creepy!
