Good morning. Have you ever been asked to step up into an 'acting' role or been offered a 'promotion' only to find it's twice as much work without any extra money?

Well the CEO of Zomato, a publicly listed food delivery company in India, advertised for a Chief of Staff role which would have no salary in the first year and the successful applicant would have to pay the company 2 million Indian rupees ($36,000 AUD) for the privilege.

The job market can't be great in India because the ad received 18,000 applicants in 24 hours.
