Good morning. If your Wi-Fi drops for five minutes today and you start spiralling, spare a thought for Yorke Peninsula.


In March, a series of blackouts hit the South Australian region hard, leaving thousands in the dark and causing more than $1 million in damages and losses. From spoiled goods to halted operations, the outages didn’t discriminate.


Still, my biggest power outage this week was just forgetting to charge my AirPods.
