🗞 Belated National Dog Day

Give your dog an extra walk today to make up for yesterday's snub.

Good morning. If your dog was sulking at any point yesterday then it's probably because you didn't acknowledge National Dog Day.

Nationwide Insurance recently released their pet insurance claims of the year, named the Hambone Awards, in honour of a dog who ate an entire holiday ham while stuck in a refrigerator.

Two notable mentions this year:

  • Bear, a Pennsylvania corgi, bit into a bottle of nail adhesive and glued his mouth shut.

  • Lambeau, a North Carolina dog, ate more than 250 jigsaw puzzle pieces - although eating one piece might have caused the owner more pain.

Give your dog an extra walk today to make up for yesterday's snub.
