Good morning. Just as American sports leagues stake a claim to "World Champions" when their teams win a national title, an Australian-based aviation agency grants itself the right to award the World's Best Airline — because it can.

The title of World's Best Airline was awarded to Korean Air, after taking a novel approach and committing to "passenger comfort." Korean Air dethroned Qatar Airways, which placed second, with Air New Zealand rounding out the top three.

The full list of airlines to fly with—and those to avoid—is here.
